patronsaintofwhiteboys asked: if you dont mind i would like to ask how you are able to draw the same person over and over with them looking like the same person because this is a problem i have and cannot seem to get a person to look how i drew them last time or they dont even look relatively similar to the last drawing i have done of them and i am just very very in need of art help (basically the opposite of same face syndrome)

Hi!  Thanks for your question.  For me, when it comes to drawing a character consistently, it’s usually because I’ve drawn them numerous times.  I really recommend taking whatever character/person you want to portray, and draw them in several angles, poses, and even styles until you get familiar with them!  It also helps solidify the way you want them to look.  And these can just be some quick sketches!  Creating a reference page for your character is a huge help to look back at whenever you need to draw that character again.  Here’s one I made for my fry cook girl.

This one is pretty basic.  You can add more details like descriptions of physical attributes/personality/etc.  This is actually one of my earliest drafts of the character, which is why I was trying different styles here.  In a way, it was like “getting to know” her.  When you’re sketching out your character, try to keep it loose!  It doesn’t have to be perfect every time. That’s a lesson I had to learn over the years, haha.  Anyway, I hope that helps a bit!

Idk why they’re trending but when I was in second grade I saw one bit another one’s leg off and it scarred

Haha oh man, that sounds so traumatizing.  Sorry to hear about your childhood experience!  It’s a good thing their limbs regenerate though.

I was able to take some photos of my senior work at the studio today.  Here’s one of the oil paintings of my character, Aries!

Going to Sakura Matsuri in DC today with my sis!  Who’s going?  I’ll be walking around cosplaying Yuna if any of you guys wanna find me and say hi!

Just finished my senior studio show, so now I can breathe a sigh of relief and cruise the rest of the semester until graduation!  It’s a great feeling.

I just changed my phone’s ringtone to FFX Tidus’ laugh clip.  Let’s see how long it takes for me to regret this decision.

Anonymous asked: I was just wondering where you got your Mako wig! You've probably been asked multiple times but I was curious. Sorry!

No prob!  I got it off of eBay.  If you search for “mako mankanshoku wig” it should be one of the first results.
